Current Research
I am interested in evolution, from population to species levels, and its relation to environmental factors promoting genomic diversification, adaptation to different environmental conditions, and population divergence/speciation over time. In particular, I am interested in the diversification and evolution of Southern Ocean biota. Our current research project is focused on the molecular evolution of Notothenioid fishes.
